New Track: Storm

In fall of 2010, new songs are to be released. Although it is hard to produce an electro trash track in less than two months. Soon to have Rev, Rival and hopefully Storm unleased in the upcoming EP, Color Doesn't Exist, the remainder of the summer will require alot of work.

fONIXX

fONIXX recently interviewed with Artificial Vengeance, and asked them what is to be expected for their new EP Color Doesn't Exist. This was taken from the interview.

"Color Doesn't Exist is an EP of effects simply, wobbles, noises, we take samples from many things and add them. One specific song really is expected to be taken very seriously which is, Rival, a really hard song to listen to, cause of it's content. It's the hardest and heaviest song we have yet. If we put many electrostep and harcore electronic artists together, Rival sums it up. We don't have a music video for that in the future, but we do plan to have a sketched animation music video to go with it."

Louisbourg Park

Tonight's event was located at a park in northern Montreal, where a organization invited us to bash the living days out of the audience. With what? Tons of electrostep wobbles and loops. Enough to turn everybody crazy. So crazy that one person from the audience decided to jump on stage, rip out the cables out of the CDJ-1000MK3's and spill his beer all on the dj booth. Well, needless to say, it went really psychotic with all the heavy things that we we're playing, including that super wild guy with his beer. More than 2,500 fans of Artificial Vengeance showed up and enjoyed every minute, from what it seemed. There were some really messed up times in the day. But it was all for the cause I suppose. Tonight, we play @ Redlite.

Happy Birthday DJ Sir Pat Nolnix!

Today is DJ Sir Pat Nolnix's birthday. Many things were supposed to take place, for example: the music video for the recently released song was canceled due to a accident with the director, Roudy Moujabber. He is still recovering his broken leg and will be getting to finish the music video in a matter of weeks. Still nevertheless, happy birthday to DJ Sir Pat Nolnix!

Destroyed City: A Novel by Eric Danereau

DESTROYED CITY: A NOVEL BY ERIC DANEREAU

The novel Destroyed City by Eric Danereau is a story based on two electrostep hardcore electronic dj's formed up as Artificial Vengeance. In this quiet moment, nothing matters, everything is extinct and everything is destroyed by a plague or disease. This disease, known as "The Virus", known to destroying villages, citys and towns across states and countries, is unstoppable. What this story explains is that, two people, two dj's, came without anything, and managed to pull something off that seemed incredible. This story describes the still-growing, beating heart of Artificial Vengeance. How they became what they are today and all sacrafices made to achieve their dream into playing in front of millions. With many examples as to why Artificial Vengeance has not been known much is due to the fact that their work, their disease, has been dormant for too long. Sooner or later, this disease will awaken us all whether we like it or not. Without this virus, Artificial Vengeance would hit rock bottom. This virus, infects us all. Get infected.

Artificial Vengeance: The Men Behind It All

Artificial Vengeance, a hard-electronic duo group, forming of two men, DJ Corruption & DJ Sir Pat Nolnix. Known for destroying clubs & turning huge crowds into riots. Sometimes playing in unkown clubs of downtown Montreal & Laval, they both know how to throw a rave. After countless remixes and numerous produced songs, they are recognized as a really heavy bass and trippy effect electronic group.

They manage to pull off every event in sucess dating all the way back to Febuary 26th 2010, the first event at club Circus Afterhours in East of downtown Montreal. DJ Corruption, in control of the effects of what the sound of Artificial Vengeance actually is in front of hundreds. DJ Sir Pat Nolnix playing on the Pioneer CDJ-1000MK3's & mixing on the Pioneer DJM-800, being able to put any track he can possibly lay his hands on. These two guys can tear an entire crowd from pure wild to hysterical and uncontrolable mayhem. Playing at dozens of more places during the spring, dozens more will follow during the summer. Releasing two EP's, Orion, & Apolcalyptica they are planning to change their sound to a grudgier and more harder style.

With much more to follow, it all started from one simple day of deciding whether it would be better to have two people in a group and play music or one person. Two people, happened to change the face of Montreal very quickly, and will continue in the future. With possibilities of playing in Toronto, Ottawa and Quebec City, they are rising above the world itself and are hoping to play in front of millions in the future. They hope to change the scene of hard-electronic, and make it possible for us all to have a listen once in a while.

Also including that DJ Sir Pat Nolnix, part of a punk band called Thirty League, developping a hard thrive into the world of punk. The roots and distortion of punk and the bass of house formed up into one duo group called Artificial Vengeance, and continuing off to the thick punk roots that created Thirty League. Both these projects remain unfinished, and more work is left off to complete. The blog of both DJ Sir Pat Nolnix & the duo group itself, Artificial Vengeance, remain. And hard-electronic will be here to stay.

Done With DENON?

@ club Circus, I tried the Pioneer CDJ-900's for the first time. I've heard of CDJ's before. Even long ago, when Benni Benassi, played with CDJ-1000's. And now, there are CDJ-2000's, a higher class in CDJ's. So, as of Summer of 2010, I will have my own CDJ's. And because I really decided quickly, I knew that, USB's or Links won't be needed. Because I have my discs, and that's only that I've played on for a long time. So I will be getting CDJ-1000 MK3's in the middle of June-July. They cost quite a few dollars, but it's probably the best I'll ever play on. You guys can catch my own personal blog @ http://sirpatnolnix.blogspot.com/.
Cheers,
Sir Pat Nolnix

3 Hours Till Circus

Are we nervous about playing @ Circus Afterhours? Not at all. Even though it's our first time in front of a crowd in a club, we're still confident. Nervousness is nothing compared to the excitement that we have. We are more excited to play, because we will bring the entire crowd to their feet, that is certain. Liza Film will be filming us, and will put it all together in a future music video. Thanks again for supporting! Be sure to go to Club Circus Afterhours!

Upcoming Music Video?

Recently, I have talking to our film crew's director Rudy Moujaber, about an upcoming music video for the track "Vapor" possibly in Summer of 2010. It's uncertain as to us making the music video, and to when it will be released. In the meantime, I'm just burning a couple discs for the 26th of Febuary @ Club Circus Afterhours in Downtown Montreal. Thanks to everyone who bought tickets!
